Associated Executive Producer. I helped Paco Poch at Mallerich Films in the production of this film. I organised local production in Andalusia, raised some regional money and did a bit of Line Producing aswell.

Un documental sobre el “Hollywood Europeo”. La historia de la Almería cinematográfica vista desde las gentes que trabajaron con Sergio Leone y desde sus películas.

Director and Producer. I directed – with the talented support of Paco Baños – this documentary film at Jaleo Films. It’s about the shootings of Sergio Leone in Almeria (Spain). We were shooting over Spain, Italy, France and USA for a long two years period.

The film was presented at San Sebastian Film Festival. It got a few awards around and was recognized as “the second most interesting Spanish film of the year” by Antonio Gasset . (I don’t remember who the first was). Believe me, it is a great little film. It was a great effort and satisfaction to produced it. And to learn a bit on film production aswell.

Hola, soy John Ford y hago películas, son solo tres minutos pero fue seleccionado como uno de los mejores cortos de aquel año (95) por Canal Plus. Forma parte del Proyecto Cinexin I.

Diving into pre-history… some of the shorts.

I directed Hi, I´m John Ford and I make movies in 1995. It was re-known as one of the most interesting Spanish shorts in that year. It is just 3 minute long, So you have it complete here….

La balada del Opel Kadett, un corto fallido pero con algunos valores memorables.

Later on (1997) I directed The Opel Kadett´s Ballad. I produced this and “John Ford´s” with the always unconditional support of Letra M. Looking at it with time distance this film is a creative failure but here you have a couple of minutes that I like…
